The Timios Trust was established in 1999 in memory of Tim Skipp and provides travel bursaries to young people undertaking Christian Service projects. This Report is on the Trust's 12th year of operation and so far 248 bursaries totalling £75,980 have been awarded, while funds in hand in excess of £136,500 will allow this valuable work to continue in the future.

Through the generous support of regular donors and a variety of fundraising activities, the Trust has been able to support all the applications within its published criteria which it has received to date. Applications for bursaries have continued at the high level of the previous two years and 30 were awarded this year, totalling more than £12,200. They helped people travel on Christian Service projects to destinations as far apart as Bangladesh, Brazil, Ethiopia, India and The Philippines.

The funds of the Trust have been static for the last four years and, with bursaries awarded now exceeding income, the Trustees are looking at ways to address these issues to enhance the lifetime of the Trust.

The Trustees' thanks go to Peter McMahon for again conducting the Independent Examination of our accounts and to everyone who has supported our work this year so that Christian young people can explore both their gifts of service and longer term vocations in the wider world.
